Since 2011, the Secretary-General has instituted an Annual Memorial Service at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, to pay tribute and honour the memory of all United Nations personnel who tragically lost their lives in its service during the course of the previous year. The Secretary-General will host the Annual Memorial Service to honour all United Nations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty from 01 January to 31 December 2025
