I would like to deliver the following press statement in my capacity as President of the Security Council. The members of the Security Council convened today in consultations to discuss the situation in Central African Republic. They commented the Special Representative of the Secretary General, Valentin Rugova, for her leadership and acknowledged MINUSCA's contribution to the implementation of the 2019 political agreement for peace and reconciliation, the advancement of the peace process, and the successful completion of the recent coupled elections.
