Today, Saudi Arabia, together with Norway and the European Union, and in coordination with France, convened a ministerial meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. Our focus is on action, practical steps that protect the two-state solution on the ground and move it towards implementation. The urgency is undeniable. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues. Violence and violations are rising in the West Bank, including in al-Quds al-Sharif, and developments on the ground are steadily eroding the prospects for a viable Palestinian state. Our priorities are clear. Consolidate the ceasefire in Gaza. ensure the immediate, unhindered humanitarian assistance and reconstruction in line with President Trump's comprehensive peace plan and Security Council Resolution 2803; support the Palestinian Authority and its return to Gaza; and stop settlement activity, annexation, displacement, and settler violence. Gaza cannot be separated from the West Bank. Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, are one geographic and political unit. There can be no separate political future for Gaza. We must also confront hate speech, incitement, and the exploitation of religion to justify violence, supremacy, and racism. Those who incite or perpetrate violence must be held accountable. There can be no lasting peace without accountability. Our objective is not simply to manage the conflict. It is to end it. Lasting security will not come from undermining Palestinian statehood. It will come through a just and comprehensive peace that can guarantee security for Palestinians and Israelis alike, and opens the way to regional peace and integration.
