Well, good afternoon, everybody. The 10110th meeting of the Security Council is called to order.
The provisional agenda for this meeting is maintenance of peace and security of Ukraine. The agenda is adopted. I would like to welcome the distinguished Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers and other high level representatives present in the Security Council Chamber. Your presence today underscores the importance of the subject matter under discussion. And in accordance with Rule 37 of the council's Provisional Rules of Procedure, I invite the representatives of Austria, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine to participate in this meeting.
It is so decided.
And in accordance with Rule 39 of the council's Provisional Rules of Procedure, I now invite Ms. Rosemary DeCarlo, Under Secretary General for political and peace building affairs, to participate in this meeting. It is so decided. In accordance with Rule 39 of the council's Provisional Rules of Procedure, I also invite His Excellency Mr. Stavros Lambrinidis, head of the delegation of the European Union to the United nations, to participate in this meeting. It is so decided.
