France · Permanent Representative [2:03]: Thank you, Madam President. My statement will be a brief one. France [2:07]: France thanks all Council members for their engagement during the negotiation process. The sanction regimes and its group of experts are central tools to combat violence and destabilization in the eastern drc, as was recalled by the Permanent representative of Sierra Leone on Friday. Friday's meeting also made it possible to mark the important milestone that was the reaching of an agreement between the DRC and Rwanda under the facilitation of the United States. What we're doing with the Great Lakes means that improvement can occur and we must do everything we can to support peace and security in the region, as that agreement is doing. Guyana · President [2:54]: Thank you, representative of France, for the statement. There are no more names inscribed on the list of speakers before adjoining the meeting. As this is the last scheduled meeting of the Council for the month of June. I would like to express the sincere appreciation of the delegation of Guyana to you, the members of the Council and to the Secretariat of the Council for all the support they've given to us. Indeed, it has been a busy month and one in which we rallied to consensus on several important issues within our purview. We could not have done it alone and without the hard work, support and positive contributions of every delegation and the representatives of the Secretariat, including the technical support team, conference service officers, interpreters, translators, verbatim reporters and security staff. As we end our presidency. I know I speak on behalf of the Council in wishing the delegation of Pakistan good luck in the month of July. The meeting is adjourned.
