A joint CBD–UNESCO side event reviewing the draft Global Plan of Action for Education on Biodiversity and exploring how education can accelerate implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
This joint side event, organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and UNESCO, presents the draft Global Plan of Action for Education on Biodiversity. Participants will discuss how education systems can support biodiversity conservation and the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework by strengthening awareness, knowledge, skills and action across all levels of society.
