This session explores how integrated social protection and formalization strategies can effectively address the structural drivers of child labour. Moving beyond principles, it highlights concrete, field-tested practices—from contributory social insurance and effective compliance mechanisms to community monitoring and sector-specific formalization integrated and landscape approaches—that have reduced household vulnerability andreduced child labour.
